Half Training: Weeks 8-10

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!

Happy Mother's Day, mom! My mother at the Seattle-Luoyang Peony Festival

I love my mom, but she drives me crazy sometimes, and vice-versa! 😛 My mom has always been hardworking and I admire her for that. She’s also the type to give you everything she has, while not taking any for herself. We always want to shower her with gifts, but she never wants them. Let us love you mom!!!~  ♥♥♥

Anyway, I have not updated since Week 7, crazy! I need to catch up—but first: some photos

Tell Me What You Know About Dreams

“I’m on the pursuit of happiness and I know,
everything that shines ain’t always gonna be gold, yeah.
I’ll be fine once I get it, I’ll be good.”

2013 has been an incredibly tough year for me, I got laid off and am still having a hard time finding a job now. I try to stay optimistic, but some days I get really depressed, who doesn’t right? On those days I am extra thankful for: friends, the distraction from a tough workout, sometimes tv/movies, but the best cure for the blues for me is music. Lately my go-to is Kid Cudi – Pursuit of Happiness (Steve Aoki Remix). The original is good too, but I love the remix.

The above quote really hits me, it makes me remember that I’ll be okay.
Do you have a favorite blues-busting song?
